        We often think of <a href="https://umem.org/educational_pearls/1698/">Plantar Fascitis</a> as the cause of heel pain but there are a lot of other causes. Some of those include:</p>

                Heel bursitis-  inflammation on the back of the heel. Can be from jumping or poor fitting footwear.</li>
        <li>
                Heel bumps - from excessively rubbing resulting in too much bone formation.</li>
        <li>

        <li>
                Chance inflammation of the heel pad</li>
        <li>
                <a href="https://umem.org/educational_pearls/2195/">Stress fractures</a></li>
        <li>
                <a href="http://umem.org/educational_pearls/1349/">Severs disease</a></li>
        <li>
                Achilles tendonitis</li>
        <li>
                <a href="https://umem.org/educational_pearls/1265/">Retrocalcaneal bursitis</a></li>
        <li>
                <a href="https://umem.org/educational_pearls/1265/">Posterior calcaneal bursitis</a></li>
