Why did you choose UMEM?
UMEM stood out for its emphasis of on-shift teaching with residents and the diversity of academic, community and county emergency medicine sites where residents rotate throughout their time in the program. Ultimately, I was sold by the enthusiastic residents I met and had a chance to visit with during my interview; I wanted to be a part of the team.
