Hey! My name is David, but I go by Gordo. I was born in the Baltimore area, but moved to the Chicagoland area when I was 7. Ever since I've alternated between the two cities. I'm an undergraduate Terp. I followed that up with a stint at Georgetown in the Special Masters Program, before participating in AmeriCorps in Miami for a year. Then I went back to the University of Illinois for Medical School where I discovered my passion for Emergency Medicine while working with an old farm doc who taught me about milking Stensen's duct. I rotated at Maryland recognized the passion and commitment they have not just to educating their residents, but creating future educators in emergency medicine.
