Hello Everyone! I'm Anne, one of the EM residents. I was born and raised a Cornhusker Football fan (GO BIG RED!) and spent the first 18 years of my life in Lincoln, NE. I moved out to Santa Barbara, CA for college where I developed a deep love for nature and all forms of outdoor adventure! I had always known I wanted to be a doctor but it wasn't until I started working as a scribe in an ER in Ventura, CA when I became more and more drawn to this AWESOME field of medicine!
I went to St. George's School of Medicine in Grenada (Southern Caribbean) for medical school where I had the opportunity to get involved in health fairs and became very interested in international medicine.
I am so excited to be a resident here at University of Maryland and have had a great time exploring the dynamic city of Baltimore and all of the parks and hiking and biking trails in the surrounding area.
